BRISTOL, R.I. – Three members of the Roger Williams University women's cross country and track & field program have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their combined athletic and academic excellence.
Junior Grace Baldwin (Braintree, Mass.), sophomore Gabriella Sitzer (Slingerlands, N.Y.) and sophomore Megan Wiener (Carmel, N.Y.) each received the honor for the Hawks.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District recognition, NCAA Division III track & field and cross country student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while meeting one of the organization's athletic performance standards. Eligible nominees must either finish among the top 50 individuals at their NCAA Cross Country Regional Championship or rank among the top 50 in their region in an individual event during the indoor or outdoor track and field season.
Baldwin, a Marine Biology major, earned Academic All-District honors after ranking 21st in the NCAA Division III Mideast Region in the 400-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 1:09.93 during the outdoor season. She also competed for the Hawks during the cross country season, including an appearance at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championship.
Sitzer, a Criminal Justice major, qualified for the honor after recording a season-best time of 12:58.44 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, ranking 44th in the NCAA Division III Mideast Region. She also competed in cross-country before transitioning to outdoor track and field.
Wiener, a Legal Studies major, earned CSC Academic All-District recognition after ranking 38th in the NCAA Division III Mideast Region in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 10.02 meters during the outdoor campaign.
The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes student-athletes for their success both academically and athletically. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with Academic All-America selections scheduled to be announced later this summer.
