Men's Swimming & Diving Defeats Wheaton

BRISTOL, R.I.—The Roger Williams Men's Swimming & Diving team defeated Wheaton College 174.5-109.5 on a Saturday afternoon.
In the 200 Yard Medley Relay, Eamon McKenney (Portsmouth, R.I.), Hunter Wronski (Shelton, Conn.), Hunter Olson (Framingham, Mass.), and Gabe Pasqualucci (Southbury, Conn.) came in first with a time of 1:37.59 respectively. In the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, Olson, Pasqualucci, David Anderson (Corry, Pa.), and Conor Quinn (Milford, Conn.) was victorious against Wheaton with a time of 1:29.25.

Lucas Stencel (Warwick, R.I.), Kirk Schultz (Cos Cob, Conn.), and Pasqualucci each won two individual events for the Hawks. Stencel had a time of 53:59 during the 100 Yard Butterfly and 2:00.40 during the 200 Yard IM. Schultiz was victorious in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:47.57) and the 500 Yard Freestyle (4:58.41). Pasqualucci defeated Wheaton opponent Timmer Sposato (Gorham, Maine) in the 50 Yard Freestyle at 22.45 and 100 Yard Freestyle at 49.26.

Winning one individual event for the Hawks were Ian Zito (Cumberland, R.I.), Wronski, Olson, and Joseph Charpentier (Pawtucket, R.I.). Zito came in first during the 1000 Yard Freestyle at 10:20:58, Wronski won the 100 Yard Breaststroke at 1:01.48, Olson was victorious during the 50 Yard Butterfly (24.05), and Charpentier nailed the One Meter Diving with 180.30 points.

The Hawks will compete in the Gompeii Invitational hosted by WPI from November 30^th to December 2^nd starting at 9:30 a.m.
