BRISTOL, R.I. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their Men's Swimming & Diving Academic All-District Teams on Tuesday, naming four Hawks to the honor.
In order to qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically. For swimming and diving, the student-athlete must compete in 75 percent of competitions, finish top-eight at a conference meet, or participate in a national championship.
Joey Gould (Guilford, Conn.) was among the honorees for the Hawks, competing in each of the Hawks events. Gould holds a 3.60 cumulative GPA in his courses as a management major. Joining Gould on the team is
James Guilmette (Johnston, R.I.), who swam all eight events for RWU during the 2025-26 campaign, setting personal bests in the 50 and 100 freestyle at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship. Guilmette is a criminal justice major, with a 3.60 GPA.
Rounding out the award honorees is
Connor Poetsch (Randolph, N.J.)and
Corin Patel (Cypress, Texas). Patel is a sophomore Architecture major, and holds a 3.91 cumulative GPA in his coursework. Poetsch also was honored holding a 3.98 as an accounting major.
