BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Women's Swim & Dive team defeated Brandeis 175 to 105 on Saturday afternoon.
Coach Emmert stated, "To walk away with two wins for our team today was HUGE! Brandeis is a very strong, up & coming program in New England, so for us to pull away with two victories is a great way to start our season. Above all our main goal this season is cultivating our GRIT, which definitely showed today. The team lifted in the morning, so they were definitely sore and beat up, but demonstrated their mental resilience. Short term was tough, but if we can build off this, it will equate to long term gains."
