HAMPTON, Va. – The Roger Williams University Women's Swimming Team finished day three of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday, as they head into the final day of competition on Sunday.
In the 400 IM, AvaGrace Zettler earned a time of 4:44.07, finishing 12th overall in the final, while Kallie Fournier earned a time of 4:57.06, cutting 2.83 seconds off her seeded time.
In the 100 butterfly, Avery Benigni posted a 59.64, landing 12th, while Natalie Herl finished in 1:00.84. The 200 freestyle saw Claire Dombrofski finish in 1:57.23.
Mattia McIntyre posted a 1:09.91 in the 100 breaststroke, while Anna Gallagher swam the race in 1:10.88, with Brook Irons also competing in the finals with a 1:12.21 time. Rounding out the day was the 100 backstroke, where the Hawks saw Avery Watson earn a 1:01.01 time, finishing in 19th.
