BRISTOL, R.I. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their Women's Swimming & Diving Academic All-District Teams on Tuesday, naming four Hawks to the honor.
In order to qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically. For swimming and diving, the student-athlete must compete in 75 percent of competitions, finish top eight at a conference meet, or participate in a national championship.
Isabel Tahlmore (Narragansett, R.I.)
, a sophomore psychology major, qualified for the team, posting a cumulative GPA of 3.96, and is joined by fellow sophomore
Mattia McIntyre (Norton, Mass.), who holds a 3.84 cumulative GPA as an elementary education major.
Alexis Gentile (Wayne, N.J.) also received the honor as the Construction Management major holds a 3.63 cumulative GPA. Rounding out the honorees is senior
Brooke Irons (Cranston, R.I.), who has recorded a 3.61 GPA up to this point in her collegiate career.
