BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Swimming & Diving team won 170-53 to Wheaton College on Friday night.
Hawk Highlights
Eamon McKenney (Portsmouth, R.I.) placed first in all three of his events throughout the meet.
Coach
Matt Emmert stated, "I am very proud of our energy on deck today, which was one of our objectives heading into this meet. Wheaton is a very strong program and this meet has been a battle for us historically. So to come away with a win for the men is huge, but I am also very proud of the resilience our women's team demonstrated today. There are quite a few things we were able to learn from and improve before our big fall invite at WPI in 3 weeks, specifically we have to close out races with tenacity. This will be a focus of our training this coming week."
