WESTON, Mass. – Roger Williams University Women's Swimming & Diving sophomore Ellie Field (Adams, Mass.) has been voted as the NEISDA Women's Swimmer of the Week for the sixth week of the season.
 
Field had three outstanding performances against Wheaton College last Friday night after battling back from a shoulder injury mid-way through the season. She was the butterfly leg in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, splitting 26.88. She took first place in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a conference-leading time of 25.15. Finally, she led off the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with another conference leading time of 54.41.
 
Prior to her swimming career at RWU, Field swam for Hoosac Valley High School in Cheshire, Mass. She is majoring in Public Health at RWU.
 
Field and the Hawks return to the pool on December 6^th at the Gompeii Invite.
