Day Three Update of NEISDA Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Heading into day three of the NEISDA Championships, the Roger Williams Women's Swimming and Diving team bumps down to second place while the men's team remains in first going into Sunday.

Ellie Field (Adams, Mass.) from the women's team placed first in the 50 Yard Butterfly while touching the wall at 26.67. Teammate Kenzie Sweeney (Groton, Mass.) came in second place in the 100 yard Breaststroke at 1:07.92. In the 200 Yard Medley Relay, Callie Sullivan (Wrentham, Mass.), Sweeney, Casey Klein (Newtown, Conn.), and Field placed third at 1:50.52.

On day three, Gabe Pasqualucci (Southbury, Conn.) won his individual event, the 50 Yard Butterfly at 22.93. Earning second place was Andrew Reagan (Middletown, Conn.) in the 400 Yard IM (4:15.95), John Babuka (Richmond, Ky.) in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:42.96), Eamon McKenney (Portsmouth, R.I.) in the 100 Yard Backstroke (51.61), and Hunter Wronski (Shelton, Conn.) in the 100 Yard Breaststroke (56.82). Third place went to

Connor Quin (Milford, Conn.) in the 200 Yard Freestyle, Hunter Olson (Framingham, Mass.) in the 100 Yard Backstroke, and Andy Paul (Sunderland, Mass.) in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. The men also placed first in the 200 Yard Medley Relay which included McKenney, Wronski, Olson, and Pasqualucci.

The Hawks head into their final day of competition at MIT today where the NEISDA Champions will be announced!
