ASHAWAY, R.I. – The Roger Williams University equestrian team finished in third place on Saturday, in their first show of the season.
The Hawks saw numerous top performances including from senior captain
Chloe Noyes (Manchester, N.H.) in the open division, finishing first place Over Fences, and second in the Open Flat, behind teammate
Gen Loring (Hopkinton, Mass.) who closed the day as the Overall High Point Rider. Loring finished in first place in Open Flat and Intermediate Over Fences.
The Hawks also picked up numerous second place finishes with
Carisa Brogdon (Nassau, Bahamas) finishing as the runner up in the Limit Flat,
Alexandra Macdonald (Norwood, Mass.) earning second in the Novice Flat, and
Michelle Kryl (Westhampton Beach, N.Y.) closing the competition in second in the Pre-Novice Flat.
Gwen Sieber (Woodbury, Conn.) also earned a third-place finish in the Novice Flat, along with
Anna Lyons (North Andover, Mass.).
Roger Williams will compete again on Sunday, Oct. 30 in Warren R.I.
