Couture is a fourth-year member of the Hawks Swimming & Diving program specializing in the Butterfly events. During his career, he has compiled 11 top-three finishes in various disciplines at multiple events. This season, he has been very good for RWU with five top-three placings, among them his first-ever win in the 200 Yard Butterfly event in the team's first dual meet against Wheaton in October. Perhaps his best overall day this season came against Eastern Connecticut State University on Senior Day, during which he collected a trio of top-three finishes, taking second as a part of the 400 Yard Medley Relay team while adding a third-place finish in both the 100 Yard Butterfly and the 400 Yard Individual Medley.
Out of the pool, Couture is a Business major and was a 2020-21 NEISDA All-Academic Team selection.
