PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Roger Williams women's swim team traveled to Providence College for their first meet of the 2024-25 season where the team placed ____ overall.
 
In the 200 SC Meter Medley Relay, the Hawks' Kate Wieler (Bourne, Mass.),  Isabella Kuzbek (Manitou Springs, Colo.), Noelle Schneider (Plymouth, Mass.), and Gabby Carr (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) finished highest out of the RWU participants in 2:06.61.

For the 800 SC Meter Freestyle, Schneider swam again for the Hawks placing in fourth with a time of 10:51.88.
 
In the 200 SC Meter Freestyle, Carr swam for the Hawks, finishing with a time of 2:18.05, putting her in sixth for the race.
 
In the 100 SC Meter Backstroke, Kendall Noonan (Southington, Conn.) placed highest for the Hawks, coming in fifth place with a time of 1:15.67.
 
For the 100 SC Meter Breaststroke, Kuzbek swam again for Roger Williams and found fourth place for the Hawks with a time of 1:20.79.
 
Moving on the butterfly events, in the 200 SC Meter Butterfly, Natalie Herl (Rocklin, Cali.) swam to a fourth for the Hawks finishing in 2:40.61.
 
In the 50 SC Meter Freestyle, the Hawks' Avery Benigni (Meriden, Conn.) swam to a third-place position with a time of 28.84, setting a new personal record and beating her previous time of 29.30.
 
For the 100 SC Meter Freestyle, Carr swam for a third time for the Hawks, this time bringing in fifth place with a time of 1:02.35.
 
In the 200 SC Meter Backstroke event, the Hawk's Wieler swam to first place with a time of 2:29.45, almost two seconds before the second-place finisher from Providence College.
 
In the 200 SC Meter Breaststroke, Kuzbek swam again for Roger Williams placing third place with a time of 2:59:08.
 
For the 400 SC Meter Freestyle, Alexis Gentile (Wayne, N.J.) swam to a fifth-place finish with a time of 5:04:54.
 
In the 100 SC Meter Butterfly, Benigni swam for a second time for the Hawks, finding sixth place with a time of 1:11.64 and setting a second personal record, beating her previous time of 1:14.31 on the short course 100m butterfly.
 
In the 200 SC Meter Individual Medley, Schneider came seventh for the Hawks with a time of 2:42.33.
 
For the 200 SC Meter Freestyle Relay, the Hawks' team consisting of Carr, Wieler, Benigni and Schneider, placed second with a time of 1:55.25.
 
The Roger Williams women's swim team will travel to Brown on Friday, Oct 18th for their next meet before they host their first invite at home of the 2024-25 season on Saturday, Oct 26th.
