BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Women's Swimming team wrapped up the second day of the Fisher Invitational securing the top spot in the with 955.5, outpacing Babson and Wheaton.
In the 200 yard Medley Relay, the squad of
Noelle Schneider,
Bella Kuzbek,
Avery Benigni, and
Gabby Carr clocked a time of 1:49.56 earning a third place finish. The 400 yard freestyle, Carr anchored the Hawks to a second-place finish, posting a total time of 3:40.55 with Schneider, Benigni, and
Claire Domborfski.
Carr, individually, took the top spot in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a tie of 24.47, with a second place finish in the 200 yard, freestyle, clocking in at 1:57.54.
Schneider claimed thte top spot in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing with a time of 57.89. Kuzbek finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:28.18.
Kate Wieler led the Hawks in the 400-IM, finishing second with a time of 4:47.87.
In the 1650 freestyle, the Hawks saw
Ella Rothberg earn a time of 20:52.66, finishing seventh overall.
Babson finished second in the meet with 743.5 points, while Wheaton collected 717 points to finish third. Eastern Connecticut State finished fourth to round out the field.
Roger Williams will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 7 when they host Connecticut College in a dual meet.
