NEW LONDON, CONN. – The Roger Williams Women's Swimming team traveled to a Double Dual Meet against Coast Guard and Kean this Saturday, Nov 9th.
In the individual events this meet,
Gabby Carr (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) competed for the Hawks in the 50-yard freestyle event, earning the Hawks a second-place finish with a time of 25.50. Carr also swam for the Hawks in the 100-yard freestyle event, this time earning the Hawks a fifth-place finish with a time of 56.23. In her last individual event for the Hawks, Carr swam in the 200-yard freestyle earned a sixth place with a time of 2:01.99.
In the 500-yard freestyle event,
Alexis Gentile (Wayne, N.J.) swam for the Hawks, finishing in the eighth place spot with a time of 5:52.80. In the 1000-yard freestyle, Gentile also swam for the Hawks, this time earning a fifth-place finish with a time of 11:55.91.
Moving on the backstroke events, the Hawks'
Kate Wieler (Bourne, Mass.) swam in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events placing third in both with times of 1:02.43 and 2:15.07 respectively. Wieler also swam in the 400-yard Individual Medley, finishing in the fifth-place spot with a time of 4:53.43.
In breaststroke events this meet,
Isabella Kuzbek (Manitou Springs, Colo.) competed in the 100-yard breaststroke, finding a sixth-place finish with a time of 1:13.85. In the 200-yard breaststroke,
Maggie Carroll (Albany, N.Y.) swam to a sixth-place with a time of 2:39.08.
Moving on the butterfly events, the Hawks'
Kallie Fournier (Berkley, Mass.) found a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly event with a time of 1:05.31. In the 200-yard butterfly event,
Natalie Herl (Rocklin, Cali.) also earned a fifth-place finish with a time of 2:20.19.
In relay action this meet, the Hawks' Wieler, Kuzbek,
Noelle Schneider (Plymouth, Mass.), and Carr competed in the 200-yard Medley relay earning a fourth-place finish with a tim of 1:55.41. In the 400-yard Freestyle Relay, the Hawks'
Isabel Tahlmore (Narragansett, R.I.),
Amira Aboudou (Revere, Mass.),
Avery Benigni (Meriden, Conn.) ,
Clair Dombrofski (West Hartford, Conn.), earned a fourth-place finish with a time of 3:51.66.

The Roger Williams Women's Swimming team will be at home on Saturday, Nov 23rd at 10:00 AM hosting the Fisher Invitational before they will host a meet against Connecticut College on Saturday, Dec 7th at 1:00 PM to round out the fall portion of their 2024-25 season.
