KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Roger Williams University Women's Soccer team has moved up to fifth in the latest edition of the United Soccer Coaches Region II Rankings, moving up three spots.
The Hawks picked up three spots, sitting behind Brandeis, who sits at one, MIT at two, WPI at three, and Conference of New England (CNE) foe Hartford, who is fourth in the rankings.
Babson, Suffolk, and UNE round out the top eight in the poll.
Roger Williams posted a 1-1 record for the week, pushing their record to 5-1-3 and 2-0-1 within the conference. The Hawks earned wins over Bridgewater State and tied UNE on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Roger Williams (5-1-3, 2-0-1 CNE) will travel to Plymouth State on Wednesday, Oct. 1 for a 3:30 pm matchup. The Hawks will then hit the road on Saturday, Oct. 4, as they head up to Springfield to tangle with the Golden Bears of Western New England in a CNE match.
