BRISTOL, R.I. – The Conference of New England (CNE) announced their weekly awards for the week of Oct. 6 – 12, naming Eva Wood (Sandwich, Mass.) as the league's Rookie of the Week in the sport of Field Hockey.

Wood tallied four goals on the week in two matches. Wood's first goal of the week came in non-conference play at UMass Dartmouth, while adding a hat trick on Friday afternoon against Gordon in CNE play.

Roger Williams (10-4, 5-0 CNE) will play at Salve Regina on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 6:00 pm, ahead of heading to Endicott for a CNE match on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 1:00 pm.
