BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) has announced its award winners for the 2025 Women's Volleyball Postseason Awards on Wednesday, announcing Danielle Davis as the league's Coach of the Year, with six Hawks earning All-Conference recognition.
This is Davis' third conference Coach of the Year honor since taking over the Hawks, earning her first during the 2017 campaign, and her latest last season. Davis' squad led the CNE in total blocks with 179.5 ranking 85th nationally, while posting a 15-10 record and going 9-1 after an opening non-conference slate that saw them start the season 3-8, rebounding at the start of CNE play to go 12-2 throughout the rest of the season, including a six-match winning streak that took them from Sept. 24 through Oct. 11.
On the All-Conference First Team was Kaylee Jackson (Naugatuck, Conn.), who tallied starts in all 25 matches for the Hawks with 247.5 total points, averaging 2.66 points per set. Jackson led the Hawks in kills with 217, averaging 2.33 kills per set, with high volume usage. Jackson also averaged 3.12 digs per set with 290 total on the season, surpassing the 1,000-career dig mark.
Landing on the second team was Kaydence Fish (Bedford, N.H.), after the sophomore ranked second in blocks in the league, with 80 total in 73 sets of action, 13 solo blocks. Fish ranks 31st nationally, averaging 1.10 blocks per set. Fish balanced her defensive ability with 1.42 kills per set, while hitting an efficient .297.
The Hawks also saw four student-athletes land on the Third Team, as Peyton Felix (Burnt Hills, N.Y.), Marianna Hernandez (Norwalk, Conn.), Brianna Picchietti (Batavia, Ill.), and Angela West (Riverview, Fla.) each earned the Honors. Felix saw a junior campaign land with her third straight Third Team selection. Felix ranked fourth in the conference in blocks per set, with 0.82 and a total of 75 on the season, with four coming off solo attempts. Felix has collected 223.5 points for the Hawks with a .205 hitting percentage.
The Third Team Libero, Hernandez, landed on the Third Team after earning Second Team honors in 2024. She ranked sixth in digs per set while also posting a reception percentage of .927 in 463 attempts. Picchietti tallied 197.0 points on the year with 2.77 points per set, averaging 2.59 kills per set, with 23 total blocks on the year.
Rounding out the Hawks All-Conference honorees was West, who hit .294 on the season with 164 kills, on 395 attempts. West also had 205.0 total points with 70 blocks, ranking third on the team with 0.81 blocks per set.
Lily Winsten (Rockledge, Fla.) was the RWU honoree on the Community Service Team.
Roger Williams (15-10, 9-1 CNE) will host No. 3 Endicott in a CNE Semifinal on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6:00 pm in the Campus Rec Center with a trip to the CNE Championship on the line.
