HAMPTON, Va. – The Roger Williams University Women's Swimming team secured two more medals after the third day of competition at the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships on Saturday afternoon at the Hampton Aquaplex.
In the women's 200 yard medley relay, the Hawks finished sixth overall, finishing their race in 1:48.40, as
Noelle Schneider, Bella Kuzbek, Avery Benigni, and
Claire Dombrofski combined for the time.
In the women's 400 IM,
Kate Wieler finished 12
th overall finishing with a time of 4:40.88,
Maggie Carroll finished with a time of 4:48.93. Schneider then secured a second place finish for the Hawks with a time of 56.25 in the 100 yard butterfly.
Gabby Carr did the same in the 200 freestyle, finishing the race in 1:53.68, just off the pace by Mary Washington's Spera Moy-Jacobs of 1:52.78.
Bella Kuzbek placed inside the top 10 in the 100 yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:06.50,
Abby St. Jean added a time of 1:02.07 in the 100 yard backstroke final, finishing 21
st overall in the event.
Roger Williams sits seventh with 371.5 points for the Championship with Mary Washington leading the way with 971.5. The Hawks will close out the NJAC Championships on Sunday.
