BRISTOL, R.I. – After claiming their first conference title in program history, the Roger Williams University Field Hockey team will look to repeat as they open their 2025 season on Friday, Apr. 29, against WPI.

The Hawks enter their fourth season under Head Coach
Jill Reeve, who has compiled a 40-21 record over her first three seasons, including an 11-5 conference record, while leading RWU to their first Field Hockey title in program history.

On the field, the Hawks will turn to
Chelsea King, who holds the program record for career points, goals, and assists (139-56-27). King is one of seven players in their senior campaign, including
Grace Rocheleau,
Lily Tobin,
Hannah Timbrouck,
Elizabeth Duquette,
Ally Orlofski, and
Hannah Brazil.

Maddy Monahan also returns for the Hawks after recording 37 points last season, with 15 goals and seven assists. The Hawks return four of their top five scorers from last season, with Duquette and Timbrouck recording 22 and 20 points, respectively, ranking third and fourth on the team. On the defensive end,
Ally Orlofski recorded a defensive save last season, while
Hannah Brazil brings over 400 minutes of game time from last season into 2025 in net.

The Hawks will play 19 games during the regular season, with three straight home contests to start the year, with Lasell visiting Bayside Field on Sunday, Aug. 31. RWU will open CNE action on Saturday, Sept. 13, against Nichols before rounding out the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at MIT. The CNE tournament will begin on Saturday, Nov. 1 with the First Round before the CNE Tournament rounds out with the Championship match on Saturday, Nov. 8.
