BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Athletic Department is proud to announce the addition of Morgan Woolley as the new Assistant Coach for the Hawks' Field Hockey program.
Woolley joins Roger Williams after a standout career at SUNY New Paltz, where she was a four-year member of the field hockey team. Serving as team captain from 2022 through 2024, she earned multiple postseason honors, including All-SUNYAC First Team and selection to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Senior All-Star Team in 2024 .
In addition to her on-field accomplishments, Woolley brings coaching and leadership experience. She coached with Field Hockey 4 All, an inclusive program fostering participation for individuals with disabilities, and with Strong Island Field Hockey, where she developed players from the youth through high school levels .
Her impact extended beyond athletics at SUNY New Paltz, where she served as Chair of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Mental Health Subcommittee, leading initiatives such as Green Out Games and the Mental Health Fair. She also worked as an Athletic Communications Intern, collaborating closely with coaches and department staff on game-day operations .
