BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Soccer program has announced the addition of Hogan Cain and Jack Wildermann to its 2025 coaching staff. Cain will serve as the Assistant Goalkeeper Coach, while Wildermann joins as a Graduate Assistant.
Cain, a 2025 RWU graduate and former senior captain, begins his first season on the sidelines after a decorated four-year career in net for the Hawks. Over 3,500 minutes of play, Cain started 37 matches and recorded 17 career shutouts, posting a 75% save percentage. His strong play earned him two All-Conference honors and recognition on the CSC Academic All-District Team. Off the field, Cain excelled academically, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Architecture. He begins his Master of Architecture program at RWU this fall, having already earned multiple design awards, membership in the Tau Sigma Delta Honors Society, and the S/L/A/M Collaborative Scholarship.
Wildermann also returns to the program after graduating from RWU in 2025 with a degree in History. A central figure in the Hawks' 2022 squad that captured the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, Wildermann was a consistent presence on the pitch throughout his four years. He earned three All-Conference selections, two All-Region honors, and served as team captain in his senior season. He now continues his academic journey as a first-year student at the Roger Williams University School of Law.
"We are very excited to add Jack and Hogan to our coaching staff. Both were phenomenal on the field and captains during their time with the Hawks. They bring outstanding leadership qualities to the sidelines, which will be invaluable during the season. It's always special to have former Hawks players continue to be a part of our program, and we're thrilled to see them give back in new roles." said Head Coach James Greenslit.
