BRISTOL, R.I. -  The Roger Williams University Sailing team competed in three regattas over the weekend, placing second at the Graham Hall Team Race at Navy, and finishing third at the Southern New England Team Race and Women's Southern New England Team Race at Connecticut College.

At the Graham Hall Team Race, the Hawks squad of Carlos Bermudez de Castro (La Coruña, Spain), Kyle Pfrang (Suffolk, Va.), Jed Lory (Severna Park, Md.), and Oliver Stokke (Santa Barbara, Calif.) as the team's skippers, sailed with crews, Addy Fisher (Charleston, S.C.), Jakub Fuja (Glenview, Ill.), and Carter Sheehan (Middletown, R.I.), with Lory and Pfrang also seeing reps as crews. Roger Williams posted an 18-5 record while Harvard took the top spot with a 21-2 record through the weekend.

In round one, the Hawks posted a 15-0 record, defeating Harvard with a 1-2-4 finish to remain undefeated through the opening round robin. Heading into the gold six round robin, the Hawks went 3-2 with losses to Harvard, who made up the ground going unbeaten, and Stanford.

The Hawks and Crimson, along with Charleston and Georgetown, reached the final four, where the Hawks were unable to pick up a victory, as Harvard swept to secure the regatta victory.
