BRISTOL, R.I. – The New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) named the Roger Williams University Women's Team Racing squad as the organization's Women's Sailors of the Week.
 
The Hawks went 6-2 in at the Yale Women's Team Race, finishing third at the event, with a 6-2 finishing with a season best for the squad. The team finished in a three way tie for the top spot with Harvard and Brown. Skippers Lucy Meagher (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Tavia Smith (Wilmington, N.C.), and Maren Matthews (Harbor Springs, Mich.) partnered with crews Maggie Fleming (San Diego, Calif.), Lexi Chigas (Glenview, Ill.), McKenzie Speece (Shelter Island, N.Y.), and Elyssa Franklin (St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands).
