MILTON, Mass.
- Senior Ashley Hansbury (Chelmsford, Mass.) scored three goals and added three assists as Curry defeated Roger Williams 8-5 on Wednesday in Milton.  With the win the Colonels improve to 12-4 overall and 8-2 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.  The Hawks fall to 10-4 overall and 7-2 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.

Curry scored first just 2:05 into the game off a goal by Hansbury. The Hawks didn't answer back until seven minutes later when senior Kasey Beckwith (Franklin, Mass.) found the back of the net.  The score would remain tied until Hansbury would score her second of the day.  Freshman Ana Bottary (Hull, Mass.) scored two minutes later and junior Kate Malenczak (Sayville, NY) would score the only other goal for the Hawks in the half.  Junior Jessie Koffman (Andover, Mass.) scored Curry's fourth goal and Hansbury would score her third with just three seconds remaining to head into halftime up 5-2.

The Colonels scored the first three goals of the second half before the Hawks would put up their own three, but it wouldn't be enough as the Colonels used the clock and held possession of the ball to close out the game.

The Colonels got two goals from Koffman and one each from senior Rachel Robichaud (Billerica, Mass.), junior Elissa Bulgatz and Bottary.

The Hawks were lead by junior Claire Halliday (Trenton, NJ) who finished the day with two goals.  Sophomore Danica Delia (Norwalk, Conn.) had one goal for the Hawks.

Junior Maria Lynch (Billerica, Mass.) continued her solid play in net for the Colonels.  The current TCCC and ECAC "Defender of the Week" made 14 saves for the win. In net for Roger Williams was senior Amanda Magee (Columbus, NJ) who made 10 saves.

The Colonels will host Endicott College on Saturday, April 24 for an 11:00 a.m game time. Roger Williams travels to Gordon College on Friday, April 23 for a 7:00 p.m. game start.
