BRISTOL, R.I. – Six Roger Williams University student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team, recognizing their combined excellence in academics and athletics.
Representing the Hawks on this year's team were Chelsea King, Ally Orlofski, and Hannah Timbrouck from Field Hockey, along with Lauren Canata, Sam Guarini, and Miranda Hayes from Women's Lacrosse.
A senior forward from the field hockey program, King capped off one of the most decorated careers in program history during the 2025 season. She earned NFHCA All-America honors after recording a program record 66 points on 28 goals and 10 assists. King finished her career as Roger Williams' all-time leader in points (205), goals (84), assists (37), points per game (2.53), goals per game (1.04), and assists per game (0.46).
Orlofski started all 21 games on the Hawks' defensive unit, helping Roger Williams post a 15-6 overall record and advance to the conference championship game. The defense allowed just 28 goals all season, holding opponents to 1.32 goals per game while recording five shutouts.
Timbrouck finished second on the team with 10 goals while adding four assists for 24 points. She also registered two game-winning goals as part of an offense that averaged nearly four goals per contest.
On the lacrosse side, Canata, Guarini, and Hayes helped lead Roger Williams to a 10-9 overall record and an appearance in the conference championship game.
Canata was among the Hawks' top offensive threats, totaling 37 goals and 11 assists for 48 points. She also contributed 31 ground balls and 29 draw controls while earning all-conference recognition.
Guarini anchored the Roger Williams defense throughout the season, appearing in all 19 contests and finishing with nine ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Her leadership helped the Hawks compile an 8-2 conference record and secure a postseason berth.
Hayes turned in one of the most complete seasons in program history and was named the Conference of New England Specialist of the Year. She ranked second on the team with 57 points on 37 goals and 20 assists while leading the Hawks with 164 draw controls. Hayes also added 49 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.
The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. To be eligible, nominees must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while meeting sport-specific participation requirements.
