BEVERLY, Mass. — Three members of the Roger Williams University Women's Lacrosse team earned recognition from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), as Miranda Hayes (South Burlington, Vt.), Grace Rocheleau (West Hartford, Conn.), and Allie Shamberger (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) were named to the 2026 IWLCA Division III All-Region Teams.
Hayes headlined the group with Pilgrim Region First Team honors after putting together one of the most dominant draw-control seasons in program history, while earning Conference of New England (CNE) Specialist of the Year honors. The junior draw specialist totaled 164 draw controls, 57 points on 37 goals and 20 assists, while also adding 49 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers across 19 starts. Hayes recorded double-digit draw controls in nine contests, including a season-high 17 in a win over Wentworth on April 11. She also posted six-point performances against both Western New England University and the University of New England during conference play.
Rocheleau earned Pilgrim Region Second Team recognition following a standout senior campaign on the Hawks' defensive unit. The CNE Defensive Player of the Year started all 19 games and finished with 41 ground balls and 32 caused turnovers. Rocheleau registered five caused turnovers in the CNE Semifinal victory over Johnson & Wales before matching the mark against Endicott in the conference championship game.
Shamberger rounded out the trio with Pilgrim Region Second Team honors after leading Roger Williams offensively throughout the season. The junior attacker totaled a team-high 95 points on 51 goals and 44 assists while starting all 19 contests. Shamberger recorded 11 multi-goal games and eclipsed the five-point mark 10 times during the year. She produced a season-high 12-point performance against Johnson & Wales on March 17 behind five goals and seven assists, while adding nine points against Suffolk later in the season. She closed the year with back-to-back eight-point outings in the CNE Tournament against Johnson & Wales and Endicott.
The IWLCA recognized 256 student-athletes across Division III with All-Region honors, with all honorees now eligible for selection to the IWLCA All-American Teams, which will be announced on May 22.
