The Co-ed Crew club started at Roger Williams College in 1990.  The club acquired used shells and a trailer from the University of Rhode Island.  The program operated in spring 1990 out of a boathouse on the Tiverton River with a novice men's eight and a novice women's eight.  These shells raced for the first time in October 1990 and November 1990, respectively. In fall 1990, the team moved to the Herreshoff Maritime Museum in Bristol RI.  The team rowed in Bristol Harbor until 1999 when it moved to the 'Boathouse in the Barn' on campus, rowing off the learning platform in Mt. Hope Bay.  In 2008 the team moved to South Watuppa Pond in Fall River, MA.   The team relocated back to Herreshoff Maritime Museum in fall 2013.  The team uses the fall as a development season, and occasionally enters the Head of the Charles Regatta.  Spring is our competitive season when we try to enter two or three events prior to our regional championship; the New England Rowing Championship.
