Emily Stoeppel (Brookline, Conn.) for the team's first tally with 11:24 left. RPI added one more score to take a 7-1 lead going into halftime.
Roger Williams made some adjustments in the second half and was able to rally late in the game, but found themselves in too big of a hole to dig out. Trailing 2-9, the Hawks scored four unanswered goals in a six-minute span to pull within three with just under seven minutes to play. However, the Hawks could not get closer as the Engineers held on for the win.

Shayne Rivard (Easton, Conn.) finished with two goals apiece.
