Box Score BRISTOL, R.I.- The senior pairing of Lauren Flahive (Foxborough, Mass.) and Delana Erickson (Concord, N.H.) scored four times each as the Roger Williams University Women's Lacrosse team rolled past Gordon College, 20-2 on a blustery afternoon at Bayside Field on Thursday. In the win, the Hawks eclipsed the 20-goal mark for the fourth consecutive game, their longest such streak in program history.
 
With the win RWU improved to 4-0 (4-0 CCC) on the season, making it just the second time the program has opened the season undefeated through four games after doing so in 2018. Meanwhile, the Fighting Scots fell to 4-6 (3-4 CCC).

How It Happened
Roger Williams went right to work shredding through the Gordon defense. Just over a minute in, Lily Cunningham (Melrose, Mass.) got the party started off an assist from Delana Erickson (Concord, N.H.). This was the first of six goals the Hawks scored in the first five minutes of the game as Cunningham scored a second goal, Erickson added two of her own and Lauren Flahive (Foxborough, Mass.) pitched in with a pair. After four more goals against Fighting Scots' starter Rebecca Resnick (Monroe, Conn.), the visitors made a change in net turning to Annabel Christenson (Scituate, Mass.) who, despite performing better, simply could not do much to temper the onslaught. Flahive added two more goals to her total in the half before Erickson netted her third of the stanza with 16 seconds remaining to make the score 14-0. All the while, Hannah Goodwin (Bradford, Mass.) was facing little pressure in net for the hosts as she spent the entirety of the first half in net for the Hawks and only faced one shot on goal.
 
Erickson opened the second half for RWU with her fourth score of the contest. Gordon finally got on the scoreboard as Katelyn Dyer (Plainfield, N.J.) scored two of the next three goals for the Scots. From there Roger Williams closed out the game with four unanswered points including one by Karli Chapin (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) with two seconds remaining to get the Hawks to 20.
 
Goodwin tended a scoreless first half to earn the win in net for the Hawks and improve to 4-0. Addie Di Scipio (Falls Church, Va.) saw more action in net for RWU in the second, but she still made a pair of saves against eight shots.
 
For Gordon, Resnick allowed ten goals on 11 shots to take the loss before Christenson relieved her and made six saves against 16 shots on net.
