NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – With the release of the IWLCA All-Region teams, Roger Williams University Women's Lacrosse senior midfielder
Lauren Flahive (Foxborough, Mass.) has been honored as an IWLCA Pilgrim Region First Team selection.
Flahive had a stellar year for the Hawks this season, helping lead the team to its second Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship in program history and first-ever NCAA Tournament win. She was also selected to the All-CCC First Team.
Flahive concluded the year ranking among the conference leaders in goals (27, 6
th), points (35, 6
th), draw controls (36, 4
th), free position goals (17, 1
st), and caused turnovers (12, 6
th). She was also named CCC Player of the Week on May 3 for her play in the CCC Championship Game with five goals, five draw controls, and two caused turnovers.
In the two NCAA Tournament games for the Hawks, Flahive finished with seven goals, four ground balls, nine draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
