CCC RELEASE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Mandy Beck (Old Saybrook, Conn.) of the Roger Williams University women's lacrosse team picked up the first Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Week honor of the 2023 campaign, as announced by the conference office.
 
The Hawks' midfielder scored a team high six points in Roger Williams lone contest of the week. Beck scored three goals, on eight total shots, putting seven of her eight attempts on cage.  She also assisted on three goals, as they beat Springfield, 15-8, for the first time in program history.
 
Roger Williams (1-0, 0-0 CCC) will take on Wheaton on Wednesday, Mar. 1 at 4 pm on Bayside Field. The Hawks will then travel to Brunswick, Maine for a 1 pm Sunday, Mar. 5 matchup with Bowdoin.
