BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) has announced their weekly awards for the sport of Women's Volleyball on Monday afternoon, naming Roger Williams University Libero Marianna Hernandez (Norwalk, Conn.) as the leagues Libero of the Week.

With the honor, Hernandez is the first RWU Women's Volleyball player to earn a Weekly Honor this season.

Hernandez had 39 total digs in two matches, averaging 4.3 digs per set through nine sets. Hernandez also had eight assists and two service aces with three errors. Hernandez is on a streak of seven straight matches with double-digit kills, including 13 at UMass Dartmouth on Oct. 15 and 26 this past Saturday at Gordon.

Roger Williams (10-9, 6-0 CNE) will host Rivier on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 6:00 pm ahead of a Saturday, Oct. 25 matchup against CNE foe Wentworth.
