BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) has announced their Weekly Awards for the week ending on October 5, naming Nathan Tassey (Whitman, Mass.) and Cole Walker (Cumberland, R.I.) as the league's Runner and Rookie of the Week.

Tassey competed for the first time this season with a 24:18.2 time, finishing in second, averaging 4:50.7 a mile.

Walker finished 325^th, while completing the Paul Short Run in 27:43.9, averaging 5:34.7 per mile.

Roger Williams will next compete on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the James Earley Invitational.
