The 2002 Women’s Tennis team ended the year as Commonwealth Coast Conference regular season and tournament champions. The team finished the regular season 8-1 in the CCC and won its first CCC Championship in program history with a 5-4 over Endicott College in the CCC Championship. The squad finished the year 16-1 and still holds the single-season school record for winning percentage at .941. Krista Fisk and 2013 RWU Hall of Fame inductee Sara Coleman were each named All-CCC First Team Singles and Doubles, while Coleman was also honored as CCC Women’s Tennis Scholar Athlete of the Year. In addition, Coleman, Caitlin Marshall, and Jennifer Asselin tied the single-season school record with 17 singles wins on the year.
